Blessed Botanicals is a small organic herbal tea company based in Western North Carolina. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Tara Lee Fitzgibbon and Gerald, her husband, purchased a farm in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina and moved with their family in January 2007. “We are now blessed with a wonderful business that we can run from our farm.” They are excited about being able to contribute to the local organic farming market by buying locally grown herbs and bringing jobs to the local area as the company grows. In addition to teas, this business sells exciting culinary blends. Mountain Roots is an earthy but sweet blend of astragalus, sassafras, sarsaparilla, raw and roasted dandelion, licorice, birch bark, ginger, burdock, marshmallow, orange peel, and cinnamon bark.
